The Afghan Taliban appear to be feeling the pressure of their negative actions, as they were recently reported to be hiding their helicopters due to fears of a possible Pakistani attack.
Several senior Taliban officials reportedly arrived in Ghor province on Saturday morning via four helicopters amid fears of potential Pakistani airstrikes, according to multiple local sources.
According to media reports, at least four sources in Ghor Province said that several Taliban officials arrived in the province on Saturday morning, March 14, in four helicopters to seek refuge. According to the sources, this movement was made due to fears of possible Pakistani airstrikes.
The report also stated that several Taliban officials had previously moved to Bamyan and Daikundi provinces by helicopter because of similar concerns. Local sources stated that the relocations appear to be precautionary measures taken by Afghan Taliban authorities amid rising tensions and speculation about cross-border strikes.
The developments come amid heightened regional tensions, with analysts warning that fears of cross-border escalation could trigger further security measures by authorities in different Afghan provinces.

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar yesterday stated that Pakistan’s security forces shot down two drones using modern techniques.
“Security forces shot down the drones of Fitna al Khawarij using modern techniques. The Taliban regime’s claims are baseless, and only minor damage was caused by the falling debris,” he reiterated.
In a press statement, he said that the terrorist organisation is sponsored by the Afghan Taliban government. Security forces shot down the drone using electronic countermeasures. No military or other infrastructure was targeted, and the drone was intercepted with only minor damage caused by debris, he stated.
