Three religious scholars who had gone to Afghanistan for tabligh were falsely declared by the Afghan Taliban to be a Pakistani delegation, according to reports on Tuesday.
It was claimed that Pakistan had sent them for a ceasefire and negotiations.
It was claimed that a three member delegation from Pakistan, led by Maulana Fazlur Rahman Khalil, had arrived in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The claim further added that the delegation has come to Afghanistan to explore ways to resolve disputes and reduce the recent tensions between Kabul and Islamabad.
In this ‘delegation’, according to the false claims, Maulana Fazlur Rahman Khalil, the delegation also includes Maulana Abdullah Shah Mazhar and Maulana Sajjad Usman.

‘Afghan Taliban hiding TTP chief in Kabul diplomatic enclave’, claims Hamid Mir
Senior Journalist Hamid Mir, citing diplomatic sources, claimed that the Afghan Taliban are hiding the Chief of Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) in Kabul.
According to him, TTP Chief Noor Wali, Gul Bahadur, Bashir Zeb, and other wanted militants are hiding from Central Asian states inside the Green Zone of Afghanistan’s capital.
In a post on X, he said, “These sources claimed that the presence of these wanted people near the residence of diplomats may invite deep trouble and that’s why many foreign diplomats may leave Kabul soon.”
“Presence of internationally declared terrorists is unacceptable even for the UN staff and some NGOs in Kabul. They registered their concerns with the Taliban regime”, he added.
