The Afghan Taliban, on March 8, 2026, attacked unarmed civilians, including children, in Gullak Khel village in North Waziristan.

According to local officials and security sources, one child was killed, and four others were injured after gunfire was reportedly opened on civilians

The village lies close to the Pakistan–Afghanistan border. Residents said the firing came from across the border and struck a group of children in the area.

The injured were taken to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Miran Shah, where they are receiving treatment.
