ISLAMABAD: Federal minister for planning and senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has issued clarification after he dropped off a live television interview yesterday.
During a live interview with Waseem Badami, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal was unexpectedly interrupted when an unknown person entered the room and turned off the live stream. The sudden pause left viewers curious about the reason behind the interruption.
Senior journalist Ajmal Jami later tweeted that he had spoken to Ahsan Iqbal, who explained that the interruption was caused by children from a family gathering entering the room. He assured that there was nothing serious, and the show resumed shortly after.
When the interview continued, Ahsan Iqbal appeared on screen and confirmed that “all is well” and “everything is fine.” However, during the brief interruption, audio from the room captured a man telling Ahsan Iqbal to “Band Kro Isay” (turn it off), adding to the curiosity about the incident.
Overall, the interruption appears to have been unintentional, caused by a family situation, and the interview went on smoothly after a short delay.
