Airblue announces new weekly Lahore-Baku flights: check here

Airblue, one of Pakistan’s top private airlines, has announced two new weekly direct flights between Lahore (LHE) and Baku (GYD) starting May 2, 2026.

The flights will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, according to the reports.

They will provide non stop service from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku, and back.

Airblue will use its Airbus A320 aircraft for this route. Flights will leave Lahore in the mid morning and return from Baku in the afternoon.

The Lahore to Baku route is part of Airblue’s plan to grow its international network and connect Pakistan with popular business and leisure destinations in the region.

Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan. It is a fast growing travel hub known for modern architecture, rich culture, and tourist attractions.

Centrum Air to be launched in Pakistan

Geries Group has announced the launch of a new international airline, Centrum Air, in Pakistan.

The step is expected to improve air connectivity between Pakistan and Central Asia.

Regular flight operations will begin on April 21. It will start with direct flights from Lahore to Tashkent.

This route will allow Pakistani passengers to connect to major international destinations through Tashkent.

Emirates shares latest update for passengers

Emirates has issued a fresh advisory for passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport.

It has urged its passengers to carefully review their flight status and travel plans following the partial reopening of regional airspace.

In its latest update, the airline provided guidelines for travellers booked between February 28 and April 30, 2026, after widespread schedule disruptions.

Emirates said that the safety and security of passengers and crew remain its top priority.
