The mother of Aizal, an 18-month-old baby from Karachi who died after suffering injuries in a sexual assault case, has accused YouTuber Rajab Butt of making false claims about helping her family.
She said Butt only visited the family to record a vlog. She also claimed that he did not give them any financial help.
During a recent interview, a reporter asked the woman about public figures who had visited her after the case received widespread attention. These included TikTokers, YouTubers, and well-known philanthropists.
She said she had heard Butt say that he had helped the family away from the cameras. However, she denied receiving any such help.
She said Butt did not give her even a single rupee. According to her, he only came to record his vlog and then left.
The woman also spoke about Butt’s promise to help the family get a flat.
She said Butt had promised in front of reporters last Sunday that he would arrange a flat for the family within a week. She said the promised time had passed, but the family had still not been contacted.
She added that if Butt helps them get a flat in the future, she will return and appreciate his help publicly.

According to police, a teenage relative took Aizal from her home and later returned her unconscious.
Her family first took her to a private hospital. She was later moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where she died.
Police later arrested the suspect. A case was also registered under Section 375 for rape and Section 302 for murder of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Receptionist fired after making video with Rajab Butt
A receptionist was reportedly fired after making a shoutout video with social media personality Rajab Butt.
The receptionist said in a video that she spoke to Rajab Butt when he came to the reception. According to some reports, the owner is a friend of YouTuber Rajab Butt.
She asked him to subscribe to her YouTube channel. She said she had wanted to meet him for a long time and had made several requests before.
“ I don’t know when I was going to get a chance to meet him. I had requested him many times before,” she said.
According to her, her boss was also present when the video was made. She said her boss did not stop her or ask her to leave at that time.
