Web desk: While talking to media representatives, Barrister Gohar said that Ali Amin Gandapur has been instructed to resign from the post and on the instructions of the founder of PTI, Ali Amin Gandapur will submit his resignation to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tomorrow.
“I am not authorised to take a resignation from Ali Amin Gandapur,” said PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar.
Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar further said that Ali Amin Gandapur has left Islamabad for Peshawar.
He further said that there is no forward block in the PTI. Ali Amin Gandapur was entrusted with the post of Chief Minister by the founder of PTI, and he will follow the instructions of the founder of PTI.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, during the media talks, has stated that there is no forward bloc within the party. He said that the party will decide in a meeting to whom the resignation should be submitted.
Barrister Gohar revealed that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur wishes to present his resignation to him, but in his view, the resignation should legally be submitted to the Governor.
He added that the change in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has begun from the Chief Minister’s position.
The PTI Chairman confirmed that the party had contacted Ali Amin Gandapur three times.
Barrister Gohar mentioned that he met Gandapur for about an hour, during which they discussed the matter in detail.
According to Barrister Gohar, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will send his resignation to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tomorrow.
He further informed that Gandapur would soon leave for Peshawar.
Barrister Gohar emphasised that all 91 PTI assembly members remain united and that the party’s two-thirds majority in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will stay intact.
He also announced that Sohail Afridi will be the party’s nominee for the Chief Minister position.
Praising Gandapur’s contributions, Barrister Gohar said that Ali Amin Gandapur has played an important role for the party and paid tribute to his services as Chief Minister.
