PTI’s popularity among youth
It is pertinent to mention here that a Political Survey 2026 conducted by the Research and Analytics Institute (RAI) of Pakistan revealed that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) lost its popularity among the youth.
The survey was conducted amongst 25,000 plus youth.
40 per cent of the youth are satisfied with the performance of the current government, according to the survey findings.
They believe that Pakistan is headed in the right direction as compared to last year.
The majority of the youth think the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has contributed most to the development.
Regarding trust in the government institutions, the trust has increased 15 per cent as compared to 14 per cent last year.
However, the biggest challenges for the youth seem to be unemployment, corruption, law and order, and poverty, as per the survey findings.
The survey also found that 48 per cent of youth think that Pakistan’s political landscape has improved as compared to 34 per cent last year.
The survey also found that 74 per cent of youth are registered voters and 36 per cent of youth could vote for PTI.
Whereas, 33 per cent could vote for PML-N.
However, PTI voters have decreased by 7 per cent, and PML-N voters have increased by 9 per cent as compared to last year.
