A heated moment unfolded during the 34th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 as Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf were involved in a tense on-field exchange.

The incident took place on Thursday during the clash between Rawalpindi and Islamabad United.

The situation escalated in the 17th over of Islamabad United’s innings, when Rawalpindi pacer Mohammad Amir dismissed Faheem Ashraf, triggering a verbal confrontation between the two players.

As soon as Faheem Ashraf was dismissed, a heated exchange took place between the two players. They approached each other and began arguing.

However, players from the Rawalpindi team who were present on the field intervened and brought the situation under control. It is worth noting that in the match held in Karachi, Islamabad United set a target of 138 runs for Rawalpindi to chase.

Earlier, Rawalpindi claimed their maiden win in PSL 11 with a convincing 6-wicket victory over Islamabad United at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

Chasing a target of 138 runs, Rawalpindi reached the total in 18.1 overs, losing four wickets in the process. The disciplined chase ensured a comfortable finish as they got over the line with ease.

Captain Mohammad Rizwan scored 45 runs, including 5 fours and a six, while Kamran Ghulam impressed with 42 runs. Daryl Mitchell remained not out on 32, and Sam Billings was dismissed for 2 runs. For Islamabad United, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, and Chris Green took one wicket each.

Earlier, Rawalpindi won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, Islamabad United were bowled out for 137 runs in their allotted overs, setting a target of 138 runs. Devon Conway was the top scorer for Islamabad United with 40 runs, while Cameron Green made 29 and Mark Chapman added 23 runs.
