Pakistan’s first female MMA fighter, Anita Karim has taken pride to the nation by safeguarding a historic victory on the international stage.
Anita Karim who hails from Hunza has clinched the 52kg category title at the Infinite Championship event where she made a major milestone in Pakistan’s mixed martial arts history.
She wrapped the championship with a striking first-round knockout against Iranian fighter Parisa Shamshabadi in the final session.
With this win, Anita Karim became the first Pakistani woman to claim a professional MMA title, further strengthening her status as a trailblazer in the sport.
The victory adds to her growing list of achievements, as she has previously recorded impressive wins in several international competitions.
Across the country Anita Karim’s success is being widely celebrated as she has inspired the young athletes particularly women to pursue professional sports and represent Pakistan on an international level.
Pakistani equestrian Usman Khan has secured the first position in the 2025 International Equestrian Federation rankings.

Earlier, it was reported that Usman Khan is ranked first in the Middle East and Africa Zone eventing category with 49 points in the rankings released by the International Equestrian Federation, which is an honour not only for the Equestrian Federation of Pakistan but also for the people of Pakistan.
Usman Khan expressed his determination to continue this streak of excellent performance.
