KARACHI: Anzela Abbasi, daughter of Shamoon Abbasi and Javeria Abbasi, has spoken about her estranged relationship with her father.
Earlier, Javeria Abbasi had spoken about raising Anzela mostly as a single mother. Although Shamoon and Javeria have never publicly criticized each other, Anzela recently discussed her father’s absence in her life during a podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt.
In a podcast, Anzela shared that her mother played both parental roles, so she never felt the absence of a father figure.
She also mentioned that her father had often been the “villain” in her life, someone she never looked up to.
The discussion has reignited public interest in the actors’ past marriage and how they handled their responsibilities as parents.
Shamoon is now happily married to Sherry Shah while Javeria has also moved on and remarried with entrepreneur Adeel Haider,
