Apple has announced major news for Pakistani iPhone users, with the company preparing to introduce its iCloud+ service in Pakistan. Monthly plans will start at Rs200, with storage options of up to 12TB.
Prices for iCloud+ in Pakistan have appeared on Apple’s official iCloud+ website. However, the service is currently listed as “Coming Soon”, and Apple has not yet announced a final launch date for Pakistan.
What Will the Rs200 Plan Offer?
The entry-level 50GB iCloud+ plan will be available in Pakistan for Rs200 per month. In addition to extra cloud storage, subscribers will also get access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional charge.
iCloud+ also includes several privacy and security features, including Hide My Email, iCloud Private Relay and Custom Email Domains. Users will also have access to Apple Invites, HomeKit Secure Video and Family Sharing.
iCloud+ Plans and Prices in Pakistan
The monthly prices listed for iCloud+ in Pakistan are:
- 50GB: Rs200
- 200GB: Rs800
- 2TB: Rs2,500
- 6TB: Rs8,900
- 12TB: Rs17,900
The existing 5GB of iCloud storage will continue to be available for free.
One of the key benefits of the iCloud+ offering is the inclusion of Apple TV and Apple Arcade. Through Apple TV, users will be able to watch Apple’s original films and television series, while Apple Arcade will provide access to hundreds of games without advertisements or additional in-app purchases.
This means that even subscribers to the basic Rs200 monthly iCloud+ plan will have access to both Apple TV and Apple Arcade.
Subscription Can Be Shared With Five Additional People
According to Apple, every paid iCloud+ plan can be shared with up to five additional family members. The shared benefits include storage, Apple TV and Apple Arcade.
However, each family member will retain separate personal files, preferences and recommendations.
Apple currently lists iCloud+ for Pakistan as “Coming Soon.” The company has not disclosed a final launch date and has clarified that pricing and available features may vary between countries.
