Pakistan Squad Announced for Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship 2025

Web desk: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship 2025. The championship is set to take place in Doha, Qatar.

It is expected to start from November 14 to 23. The tournament will be played in the T20 format, featuring a total of 15 matches.

According to the PCB, Mohammad Irfan Khan has been appointed captain of the Pakistan Shaheens for the event.

The squad includes: Mohammad Irfan Khan (captain), Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, Moaz Sadaqat and Mohammad Faiq.

Additionally, Mohammad Ghazi Ghauri, Mohammad Naeem, Mohammad Salman, Mohammad Shahzad, Mubasher Khan, Saad Masood, Shahid Aziz, Safyan Muqeem, Obaid Shah, and Yasir Khan.

Pakistan Shaheens are placed in Group B along with Oman, India A, and UAE, while Group A includes Afghanistan A, Bangladesh A, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka A.

Pakistan will open their T20 campaign against Oman on Friday, November 14, followed by a match against India A on Sunday, November 16.

Their final group game will be against the UAE on Tuesday, November 18.

According to the tournament format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on November 21, while the final will be played on Sunday, November 23.

All matches will be held at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. Before their departure on November 12, the Pakistan Shaheens will hold a training camp from November 8 to 11 at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Centre in Karachi.

The semi-finals are scheduled for November 21, with the final to be played on November 23 in Doha.

Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship 2025

The ACC Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, previously known as the Emerging Teams Asia Cup, will be held in Doha, Qatar, from November 14 to 23.

The T20-format tournament will feature eight teams, with all matches scheduled to take place at the West End International Cricket Stadium.
