ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the suicide attacker wanted to enter the Judicial Complex, Islamabad but after failing he blew himself up near the police van.
Talking to media upon reaching the site of the blast Mohsin Naqvi said that the attack took place at 12: 37 pm local time. He said that the attacker’s plan was to enter the judicial commission but enhanced security prevented him from doing that and he than targeted a police van.
He said 12 people have been killed in the blast and more than 20 injured. he said we have given evidence to Afghanistan of what sort of training the Fitna al-Khwarji are getting.
“There will be no compromise n the country’s security. We will take action against all those who are responsible for the attack and they will not be spared”, Mohsin Naqvi said.

We have no other choice but to take action against such forces, the Interior Minister said.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the first priority of the authorities is to identify the suicide attacker.
He confirmed that a day earlier, a bomber had detonated himself at an entry point in Wana, where a clearance operation is still under way.
The minister claimed that Afghanistan was involved in the Wana attack.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed officials to ensure immediate medical treatment for the injured.
