White-ball training camp starts ahead of Australia series

From May 15 the preparations for the upcoming One Day International series against Australia will begin. The preparations will begin with a white-ball training camp in Lahore.

According to a private media channel, the camp will be organized at the National Cricket Academy. It will be continuing until May 21 and will be featuring 28 players.

The players involved will take part in practice matches and training sessions ahead of the home series.

According to the released schedule Pakistan is scheduled to play a here match ODI series against Australia from May 30 to June 4. The matches will be held in Lahore and Rawalpindi.

The coaching staff of the National Cricket Academy will supervise the camp alongside members of the Pakistan men’s white-ball team as preparations are being intensified for the high profile series.

Ali Raza and Abdul Subhan, two emerging under-19 fast bowlers have also been included in the training camps. The selectors are continuing to monitor young talent for the future.

The players that are named in the squad include Aamir Jamal, Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Ahmed Daniyal, Akif Javed, Arafat Minhas and Faisal Akram.

In the camp some other players are also included Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Hamza Nazar, Haris Rauf, Hunain Shah, Khawaja Mohammad Nafay, Maaz Sadaqat, Mehran Mumtaz and Mohammad Faik.

Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Salman Mirza, Naseem Shah, Saad Baig, Saad Masood, Sahibzada Farhan, Shadab Khan, Shamil Hussain, Sufiyan Muqeem and Usman Khan are also part of the camp.
