Cricket Australia has announced a strong squad to play against Pakistan and Bangladesh in a white-ball series. Veteran all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been made captain for the ODI series against Pakistan.
The Australians will start their Pakistan tour by facing the hosts in the first ODI of the series on May 30 in Rawalpindi.
Then the teams will travel to Lahore to play the second and third ODIs of the series on June 2 and June 4 respectively.
Once done with the Pakistan series, they will be heading to Bangladesh to play three ODIs and three T20s.
The announced Australians for the Pakistan series include, captain Mitchell Marsh, Alex Carey, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Riley Meredith, Ollie Peake, Matthew Renshaw, Tanveer Sangha, Liam Scott, Matt Short, Billy Stanlake, Adam Zampa.

Games played between Pakistan and Australia are usually full of great cricket. Australia has been pivotal in the revival of international cricket in Pakistan through their recent decisions of touring the country.
Generally, the Rawalpindi pitch can favour batters, while the Lahore pitch can help spinners.
There is a good balance in the Australian squad, but the absence of seniors Cummins, Hazlewood, and Starc is noticeable.
Batsmen Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey can provide good middle-order stability and all-rounders Mitchell Marsh and Cameron Green will play an aggressive role in the line-up.
Adam Zampa and Tanveer Sangha will be a dangerous combination on Pakistani pitches.
Australia’s bowling lineup is still highly regarded and capable of dethroning any batting lineup.
Australia’s squad may be referred to as a “B Team” for this series, but even this Australian squad has the ability to defeat any team.
First ODI: May 30, Rawalpindi
