Both leaders further pledged to fortify the existing bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. The dignitary received a briefing about ongoing naval defense projects as well.

Pakistan Azerbaijan relations

The two countries share brotherly relations which have stood the test of time. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Azerbaijan Commander’s recent visit is expected to promote bilateral collaboration between Pakistan and Azerbaijan for the future.

Amid regional tensions such as Houthi disruptions in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea conflicts, Pakistan and Azerbaijan wish to further strengthen their brotherly ties.

The exchange came after Pakistan’s Chief of Naval Staff’s visit to Azerbaijan in August 2025, signifying peace and prosperity between the two nations.
