Pakistani actor and host Azfar Ali has spoken openly about his third marriage to Rida Zahra recently on a show. He shared details about their relationship and how they decided to get married.
Azfar Ali’s third marriage to Rida Zahra
Speaking on Nadia Khan’s show, Azfar said he married Rida in October last year. He said it was an arranged marriage and the proposal came from his sister.
His sisters had been encouraging him to get married again even though he was not planning a third marriage.
Azfar said Rida was living in Dubai at the time. The two stayed in contact for about six months before getting married in October last year.
He also made it clear that Rida would have to move to Pakistan after marriage, as he could not settle in Dubai because his work and life were in Pakistan.
The actor said his views about relationships have changed with time. He said it has been around 12 years since his second divorce.
His life experience has also changed the way he looks at marriage and relationships.
Azfar added that he used to focus more on his career. Now he also gives importance to his personal life. He said he does not want to put any pressure on his wife.
Azfar Ali was previously married to Salma Hassan and later to Naveen Waqar. Both marriages ended in divorce.
Aaqib Javed’s daughter Uqba Aqib’s wedding
Uqba Aqib, daughter of former Pakistan cricketer and national team head coach Aaqib Javed, has got married. Her wedding ceremony took place in the United Kingdom.
Uqba’s mother, Farzana Aqib, shared pictures from the wedding on her Facebook page. Farzana is a poet and author.
According to Farzana’s post, Uqba got married in the UK on August 9. She also shared prayers and good wishes for the newlyweds and both families.
The pictures show Uqba wearing a beautiful white sleeveless wedding gown. The groom can be seen wearing a formal suit.
