Baby Bengal tigers become Zoo’s new attraction

Two baby Bengal tigers have brought smiles to the zoo, quickly becoming a major attraction for visitors in Peshawar.

As per the zoo administration these cubs were before kept under special intensive care during their early days but have now fully recovered and been shifted to the main enclosure.

According to zoo management the baby tigers have been put on display for the public, where a large number of visitors, especially children, are enjoying watching their playful and innocent behavior.

The cubs have brought momentous attention and happiness from tourists in a short time.

The officials said that Bengal tigers are among the world’s most powerful and beautiful wild cats.

They further said that usually these tigers prefer dense forests, green plains and areas close to water thrive in warm and humid climates and are skilled swimmers.

The zoo administration said that the tigers are kept in special care and are being taken to provide the cubs with proper food, medical attention and facilities close to their natural habitat to ensure healthy growth.

The Bengal tigers by nature are very caring of the territory and lonely animals  

The official said that visitors have welcomed the initiative expressing hope that it will not only provide entertainment but also raise awareness about wildlife conservation.

Earlier, it was reported that an imported giraffe died at the Lahore safari zoo. This happened reportedly due to climate stress and stomach complications.

The case of the giraffes recently imported for the Lahore Safari Zoo has taken a concerning turn after one of the animals died.

Twelve giraffes had been imported from South Africa a few months back. All of which were initially kept in quarantine at the Safari Zoo. This period of quarantine has now concluded.

Safari Park sources said that two of the giraffes had been weak and underweight since their arrival.
