At least 197 militants were killed, and 22 security personnel martyred in counter-terrorism operations carried out over the past three days, security sources said on Tuesday.
According to the latest reports, at least 197 terrorists of Fitna-e-Hindustan have been killed in counter-terrorism operations conducted over the past three days, security sources said.
According to security officials, follow-up and sanitisation operations against the remaining terrorists are still ongoing in some areas.
While defending the motherland and protecting innocent civilians, 22 brave Pakistani personnel.
This includes members of the Army, Frontier Corps (FC), Police and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), who embraced martyrdom, the sources added.
Security sources further said that 36 innocent civilians, including women and children, most of them Baloch citizens, were also killed in the terrorist violence.
Security forces launch major operation
Late at night, security forces carried out major operations in Balochistan. In the Zehri and Mashkel regions, intelligence based intense commando operations were conducted.
The commandos eliminated 14 terrorists in Zehri and 6 more in Mashkel, according to the reports.
In total, 20 more Indian sponsored BLA terrorists were killed in these two intelligence based commando operations.
Following these actions, the number of terrorists eliminated in Balochistan over the past 72 hours has increased from 177 to 197.
Balochistan: massive rally held
A Pakistan Zindabad and Pak Armed Forces Zindabad rally was held in Balochistan’s Barkhan district on Tuesday under the leadership of Provincial Minister Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran.
Thousands of people took part in the rally, carrying Pakistan’s green crescent flags.
Addressing the rally, Provincial Minister for PHE Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran said that Pakistan is their homeland and the people of Barkhan stand at the forefront in its defence and security.
He further paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces and civilian martyrs for the country’s security and development.
He added that their eternal sacrifices send a clear message that a handful of terrorists will never succeed in their nefarious designs.
Addressing, he further added that the entire nation is proud of them and stressed the need to further strengthen the hands of the armed forces and the government to eliminate the last terrorist from the sacred land.
