The squad features a mix of fresh talent and experienced players. Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been appointed vice-captain and will support Shanto in leadership duties as Bangladesh gears up for the home series.

Two new players have been included in the host team’s squad alongside several experienced players. It has been reported that, in addition to captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mehidy Hasan Miraz will serve as vice-captain.

The squad also features Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das, Mominul Haque, Shadman Islam, and a number of experienced all-rounders. Fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam have also returned to the team.

The new players include Tanzid Hasan and Amit Hasan. Tanzid Hasan has already demonstrated his abilities in limited-overs cricket, while Amit Hasan earned his place in the squad due to his impressive average in first-class cricket.
