Dhaka: Bangladesh’s Gen Z are once again in action, protesting against India for backing the killers of Sharif Osman Hadi.
Hadi, a prominent leader in the Inqilab Moncho group, was shot in the head by a masked man in Dhaka recently.
He had been fighting for his life in Singapore Hospital, where, after great suffering, he passed away.
In the response, Gen Z youth are on the streets right now, protesting against India for safeguarding the terrorists.
The angry youth have set the house of Sheikh Mujeeb-ur-Rehman on fire.
By condemning the Indian agenda, students and senior leaders claimed that the attackers are linked to the former Government.
Moreover, a huge gathering occurred in Shahbagh Square in Dhaka, demanding justice and uttering anti-India slogans.
Reward of Five Million Taka
Bangladeshi police have launched a search operation for the killers of Sharif Osman Hadi.
The authorities released the photographs of two major suspects and offered a reward of five million taka for providing information.
Notice to the Indian Ambassador
The interim Government has summoned the Indian Ambassador and has issued an immediate notice for the inquiry. They demanded that India should strictly check its borders and arrest the suspects.
On the other hand, India strongly denied the allegations by saying that it has never allowed anyone to use their territory for an anti-state agenda.
The deceased leader was about to contest in the 2026 elections. Overall, the situation is very tense as the nation mourns its young leader.
