The Pakistan Consulate General in Jeddah has introduced a new online appointment system for NADRA and Machine Readable Passport (MRP) services for Pakistanis living in western Saudi Arabia.
Under the new system, NADRA and MRP services will be available by appointment only from October 1, 2026.
Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, inaugurated the new system, which aims to make consular services more organised and convenient for Pakistani citizens.
Online appointment bookings opened on September 20, allowing applicants to select an available date and time according to their convenience before visiting the consulate.
Once an appointment is confirmed, applicants will receive an SMS notification along with a tracking ID. The tracking ID can be used to check the status of the appointment. Applicants will also be able to book, view or cancel their appointments online.
The consulate has advised citizens to book their appointments in advance to avoid delays.
The new system is aimed at reducing crowds, long queues and waiting times at the consulate. The introduction of fixed time slots is also expected to make visits more organised and predictable for applicants.
The Jeddah consulate provides several NADRA services, including renewal, reprint and modification of NICOP and SNICOP, as well as Family Registration Certificate (FRC) services.
