The timing of the passport office during Ramzan has announced to facilitate passport seekers. The official working hours of Regional Passport Offices, Executive Passport Offices, and Passport Processing Counters during Ramzan have been announced.
According to the notification, the timings of issuing the token for citizens are from 9 am to 2 pm from Monday to Thursday. However, the passport office’s timing will be from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
It is pertinent to mention that on Friday, the token will be issued from 9 am to 12:30 pm, and the office timing will remain as 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Similarly, the prayer break will be from 1 pm to 1:30 pm daily.
It should be noted that these working hours will not apply to RPO G-10/4 Islamabad, RPO Garden Town Lahore, RPO Awami Markaz Karachi and NADRA Mega Centres.
Fee for Passport
The passport fee varies for passports of five and ten years. On the other hand, the urgent passport fee is different.
36-page passport: If you want a passport for five years, you will have to pay Rs 4500. You will pay Rs 6700 for a ten-year passport.
72-page passport: Regular application Rs. 8,200 for 5 years, Rs. 12,400 for 10 years;
Urgent processing: Rs. 13,500 and Rs. 20,200.
100-page passport: Regular application Rs. 9,000 for 5 years, Rs. 13,500 for 10 years.
Urgent processing: Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 27,000.
