Big win for Pakistan at the Scottish Junior Squash Championship

Web Desk: Pakistan’s rising squash talent delivered an impressive performance at the Scottish Junior Squash Championship, with two teenage players capturing titles in their respective age categories, officials said.

In the Under-15 division, Pakistan’s Suhail Adnan emerged as champion after defeating China’s Yuan Xi Liu in the final. The championship, held in Edinburgh from December 27 to 30, showcased young talent from across the globe.

Adnan controlled the match to secure victory in straight games, underlining his composure on the international stage.

Meanwhile, in the Under-13 final, Pakistan’s Mohammad Mustafa claimed the title by defeating second-seeded Nicholas Man Su of Hong Kong, delivering another boost for Pakistan’s junior squash program.

Adnan, who hails from Bahawalpur, has already built a strong reputation in junior squash. He previously won the Asian Under-13 Junior Squash Championship, adding to his growing list of international achievements.

The twin victories highlight Pakistan’s continued strength in junior squash and point to a promising future for the sport in the country. Officials and coaches said the results reflect sustained development efforts and rising confidence among young players competing at the global level.
