Bilal Maqsood makes return to music with 'O're Saajna'

Popular singer and founding member of Strings, Bilal Maqsood has made his official return to the music industry with his latest romantic single, titled ‘O’re Saajna.’

This new release signifies a heartfelt and significant creative comeback for the seasoned artist following an extended break from music.

His most recent artistic project includes a uniquely crafted music video, inspired by his well-known children’s puppet show, Pakkay Dost.

Before the official launch, the artist teased the track on Instagram by sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of the production.

Maqsood expressed his personal reflections on the project through a social media post that truly captured his creative essence.

He stated, “I wanted to start creating music again. I thought I would begin with a song called ‘O’re Saajna.’ “However, I honestly didn’t feel inclined to engage in the whole acting routine this time. So, I thought, why not just become my own muppet instead?”

The musician further stressed on how effectively the muppet representation of himself was able to express the profound emotions embedded in the song.

This particular sound strongly evokes the signature style that marked his successful career in earlier years.
