Bilawal Bhutto to attend Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s funeral prayer

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will attend the funeral prayer in Iran, the private media outlet reported on Monday.

According to the PPP sources, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel together to attend the funeral prayers of the late Supreme Leader of Iran, Syed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The details also confirmed that PM Shehbaz Sharif, along with Bilawal Bhutto and other leaders, will travel on July 3 to 4.

On his return from Iran, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will attend the oath-taking ceremony of Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chief Minister.

Earlier, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was martyred in the strikes conducted by the United States (US), according to the Iranian state media report.

Iranian state media reported that Khamenei “was carrying out his assigned duties and was present at his workplace (his office)”.

“This cowardly attack occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning”, state media further stated.

Prior to this, the President of the US, Donald Trump, had said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei had been killed in strikes.
