Bilawal to hold key meeting with PM Shehbaz on AJK situation

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed concern over the current political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and announced that he will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the issue and seek a political solution.

Bilawal made the announcement while chairing a meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s AJK parliamentary party. Party leaders and lawmakers discussed the region’s political situation and recent developments in detail.

PPP leader Faryal Talpur, who oversees the party’s political affairs in AJK and serves as president of the PPP Women Wing, also attended the meeting along with members of the parliamentary party.

During the session, lawmakers shared their views and recommendations on the evolving situation in Azad Kashmir. Bilawal listened to their concerns and held detailed consultations with party representatives.

Addressing the meeting, Bilawal said the PPP is closely watching developments in AJK and remains concerned about the current circumstances. He stressed that political issues should be resolved through dialogue and democratic processes rather than confrontation.

He said he would soon meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the situation and explore solutions through consultation and parliamentary channels.

Bilawal also said that the Pakistan Peoples Party has always attached great importance to the Kashmir issue. He noted that the party was founded with a strong commitment to the rights and aspirations of the Kashmiri people and continues to support their cause.

His remarks come at a time when political developments in Azad Kashmir are drawing attention, with political parties and other stakeholders closely watching the region’s evolving situation.
