LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially announced results for the second annual matriculation exams 2025.
As per details, the results were announced by the Lahore Board Secretary Rizwan Nazir and Controller of Examinations, Tauseef Ur Rehman.
The board secretary said a total of 56,756 candidates participated in the exams, where the pass percentage stood at 45.43% and 29,283 candidates failed the exams.
The matric results have been uploaded to the official website for students to access.
Boys vs Girls
The Controller of Examinations, Tauseefur Rehman, mentioned that 55 percent of girls passed the examed whereas 38 per cent of boys were among the total passed applicants.

Students can now view their individual results by visiting the official website of BISE Lahore (https://www.biselahore.com/).
They just need to enter their roll number to get the results.

Earlier, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) also announced the results of the 9th grade (Science and General Group) annual examinations.
According to the Chairman Board Ghulam Hussain Soomro, 175,511 candidates appeared in the Science Group exams, out of which the success rate was 78.26%.
In the general group (regular and private), 15,954 students were registered, while 14,984 took the exams and 970 were absent. The overall pass percentage in this group stood at 54.38%.
The Chairman Matriculation Board said that transparency of results is among the top priorities of the board, all possible steps have been taken to make the examination process better and fairer.
According to BSEK Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soomro, the results have been uploaded to the board’s official website.
