LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore issued the official date for the Intermediate Second Annual examination results.

As per details, the inter results will be announced on Saturday, 27 December (tomorrow) at 10:00 am.
Who will announce results?
The results will be made by Board Secretary Rizwan Nazir and Controller of Examinations Tauseef-ur-Rehman.
How many students appeared in exam?
In 2025, nearly 52,000 candidates attempted the Second Annual Intermediate exams, and the board has urged students to check official channels for result access details.
Here’s how to check results
Website
To check results online on the website, visit the official website
Click on the “Results” or “HSSC Second Annual” section.
Select your exam (e.g., Intermediate Part-I/II Second Annual 2025).
Enter your roll number in the search field and submit.
Your detailed marks sheet will appear on the screen, which you can download or print.
SMS Service
If you have no access to the internet, check results through SMS
Open the SMS app on your phone.
Type your roll number (without spaces or extra text).
Send the message to 800291.
You will receive an SMS reply with your obtained marks and basic result status.
Result Gazette
Schools and academies often keep a printed or downloaded copy to help students who do not have internet access.
The board will also issue a PDF gazette containing the complete list of results.
It can usually be downloaded from the result page on the BISE Lahore website.
Punjab Matric exams
In a separate development, earlier, the Punjab Education Department announced a major change to its academic calendar, bringing relief to 2.5 million students.
The Matric and Intermediate Board Exams for 2026 will now be held after Eid-ul-Fitr. This decision, approved by Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, gives much-needed relief and extra preparation time to students across the province.
