The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has launched the Benazir Nashonuma Programme to improve the health of women and young children.

BISP Benazir Nashonuma Programme 2026

According to details of the programme, only women already registered with BISP are eligible to benefit from this programme.

It includes pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children up to 23 months old.

The initiative focuses on better early childhood development and strengthening women’s health.

How to register

For registration, interested women can visit development centres at their local tehsil or district headquarters hospital.

They are required to provide a NADRA national identity card, the child’s B-form, and a vaccination card to ensure proper identification of eligible families.

Under the financial assistance scheme, pregnant women will receive Rs2,500 every three months.

At the time of childbirth, Rs2,500 will be given for a boy and Rs3,000 for a girl.

This includes Rs500 for travel expenses. The financial support will continue in phases until the child turns two years old.

In addition, women and children enrolled in the program will receive nutritious food to support their physical and mental development.

According to the details, this financial and nutritional assistance is separate from the general BISP cash support.

Authorities said the program will help reduce economic difficulties for eligible families and improve health indicators for mothers and children.

It is expected to contribute to the overall social development of mother and child as well.
