Pakistani security forces killed two terrorists in an exchange of fire near Jusak Cross in the Makran Range area of Kech District, Balochistan, following intelligence about a woman linked to a previous abduction.

Authorities received information that a woman named Nargis from Balicha, Tehsil Tump, was travelling in a silver Corolla, believed to be with terrorists.

Security forces set up checkpoints and snap checks in the area to intercept the vehicle.

Around 6:55 PM, a checkpoint from 168 Wing spotted the silver vehicle trying to avoid the checkpoint and taking a detour near the Jusak border.

The information was quickly shared with a nearby Quick Reaction Force (QRF) from UC WC patrolling in Singhanisar.

The QRF chased the car, and the terrorists opened fire from inside the vehicle near Jusak Cross. Security forces returned fire, killing two terrorists.

One of the deceased has been identified as Salim, a known militant who had been at large for two years and was involved in multiple terrorist activities, according to the sources.

The identity of the second terrorist is still being confirmed due to a head injury.

The area has been cordoned off by QRF personnel. No security personnel were injured, and no equipment was lost.

The vehicle is being cleared, and weapons, equipment, and ammunition recovered from the terrorists have been documented.

Officials said the operation was carried out following earlier intelligence and handled professionally.
