A British woman has accused a Pakistani man of rape because he refused to hug her in the car. According to the media report, the British woman was lying in the street in a drunken condition, and a Pakistani man asked her to give him a lift.
When they were both in the car, and the man was trying to drop her off, the woman asked for a hug, but the Pakistani man, named Salim Ullah, refused. After arriving at her house, she reported to the police that the Pakistani man raped her in his vehicle.
The police, after sometime arrested Salim UIllah and kept him in custody for around 30 hours to investigate. The man was lucky as he had a functional camera in his car and everything got recorded in it. Police checked the camera footage and released the man immediately.
Salim’s cousin said that due to camera footage, the police released him and closed the case. At the same time, Slim’s relative said, “We’re just relieved that Salim has cleared his name. He did absolutely nothing wrong.”
The relative further added, “He just tried to help someone in apparent distress, and what this case shows is the danger of women like Rachael Jones concocting horrible false stories that could easily ruin lives.”
Salim also said in his statement before the police that his wife is six months pregnant, and the false allegation by the woman causes stress for us.
He said in his statement, “My wife was six months pregnant at the time, and this allegation brought a lot of stress to us.
‘I should have been fully there for my wife; however, we were worried about what would happen at the end of the case.
‘I was worried that I might not be there for the birth of the baby, and I just feel lucky I recorded the incident.”
