Quetta: A blast occurred near Chainak Chowk in Sibi on Thursday, leaving three people injured initially, authorities reported. Local security agencies immediately cordoned off the area and launched a clearance operation to secure the site.
Police said the injured were being transferred to Sibi Civil Hospital. However, one of the victims later died from his injuries, while the condition of the remaining two is being monitored.
Officials said security personnel are actively conducting operations to ensure no further threats remain in the vicinity. The identities and conditions of the injured are still being confirmed.
Authorities will release additional information on the incident shortly as the situation remains under control.
