Army prepared to meet all challenges: CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir

Web desk: The Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, on Wednesday, addressed the National Ulema Mashaikh Conference, highlighting Pakistan’s significance.

CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir said that the State of Islam and the State of Pakistan share a deep and historic relationship.

He said that Allah Almighty has bestowed upon Pakistan the honour of being the guardians of the two holy mosques. It is a distinction given to the nation among all Muslim countries.

He cautioned that a nation that abandons knowledge and learning risks chaos and disorder.

“Honour and power are not achieved through division, but through hard work and knowledge,” he said.

On security and counter-terrorism, he asserted that terrorism is not Pakistan’s conduct, but India’s.

He added that in an Islamic state, only the state has the authority to declare jihad.

Reflecting on recent conflicts, he said, “The Marka-e-Haq was won with the help of Allah.”

He also urged scholars to work towards keeping the nation united and fostering progress in the eyes of the public.

PM Shehbaz addresses National Ulema Convention

Before, PM Shehbaz Sharif also addressed the National Ulema Mashaikh Conference.

PM Shehbaz Sharif praises the armed forces of Pakistan for their role in securing the success under the leadership of CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir.

The Prime Minister also said that the nation stood united behind its forces.

He added that innocent Pakistanis continue to be martyred in attacks carried out by the Khawarij.

PM Shahbaz Sharif further said that Pakistan is moving towards rapid development. And the elimination of terrorism is inevitable for the development of the country.

The PM said that if poisonous propaganda is made against the Pakistani forces, it is the responsibility of the entire nation to defend them.
