Security forces have killed three terrorists and injured a large number of others during a major operation in the rugged mountainous area of Dugnan in Balochistan’s Chagai district.
According to details, security forces carried out a complex and coordinated operation in the difficult terrain, gaining access to terrorist hideouts and caves used as shelters.
Three terrorists were killed following an intense exchange of fire, while a large number of others sustained injuries. During the operation, security forces also destroyed several terrorist hideouts and shelters, dealing a significant blow to the militants’ presence and operational capabilities in the area.
Importantly, no personnel from the security forces were killed during the entire operation.
The successful action demonstrated the forces’ ability to target terrorist networks even in remote and inaccessible mountainous regions. It also reinforced the message that difficult terrain and isolated caves would not be allowed to serve as safe havens for militant groups.
Security forces reiterated their firm commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. They stressed that operations would continue to protect civilians, maintain peace and counter elements challenging the writ of the state.
The operation sends a clear message to terrorist groups that no location will be allowed to become a safe sanctuary for those involved in terrorism.
