Comedian-style singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who gained fame through his humorous singing, has arrived in Lahore to celebrate Basant.
The government has allowed the celebration of Basant in Lahore from February 6 to February 8, after which Lahore’s sky these days are decorated with colourful kites.
Lahoris are celebrating the Basant festival in a full enthusiastic manner, videos of which are also being uploaded on social media.
In such a situation, social media–famous Chahat Fateh Ali Khan also did not stay behind and reached Lahore to celebrate Basant.
In this regard, the singer has also uploaded his video on the social media platform Instagram, in which he was seen picking up kites and dancing.
Not only this, but Chahat Fateh also wore a bright pink outfit in accordance with the colours of Basant.
This video of the singer is going quite viral on social media, on which a series of different comments from users are ongoing.
In addition to Chahat Fateh Ali Khan PMLN’s leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif also celebrated Basant 2026 yesterday.
He spent his day in the Walled city and celebrated the festival with his friends whom he had known for years. He relived memories with his friends related to Basant.
Nawaz Sharif is known for his fondness for Basant and Lahori traditions. He also promoted organised and safe Basant celebrations for the past few months.
A number of meeting was conducted by him with cultural stakeholders. The purpose of the meeting was to ensure the festival is done in a responsible manner.
Nawaz Sharif grew up in the Walled City and he considers Basant as an important part of Punjab’s cultural and seasonal identity.
It was also highlighted by Nawaz Sharif that Basant has the ability to boost Lahore’s economy.
