Web desk: Senior sources from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have told Pakistan Connect exclusively that “all the news about changing the Chief Minister of Balochistan is fabricated and based on lies.”
They emphasised that reports suggesting a leadership change in the province are false and do not reflect the party’s position.
Reports claiming that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is planning to remove Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti are completely false, the Senior PPP sources say.
Senior PPP sources have told Pakistan Connect that “all the news about changing the Chief Minister of Balochistan is fabricated and based on lies.”
The Senior PPP sources emphasised that there is no decision to replace Sarfraz Bugti. And claims suggesting an in-house leadership change are misleading.
The PPP reaffirmed that its priority remains the welfare of Balochistan and its people. And any such reports circulating in the media are intended to create confusion and tension.
Contrary to media claims, no consultations or nominations for a new chief minister have taken place. And the party has fully supported the current leadership in addressing the province’s challenges, as per the reports.
Before this, there were reports that said CM Balochistan would be removed. But Senior PPP sources have now denied the claims.
