Chery Pakistan has officially announced the cost of its signature Tiggo 9 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), which is another big move in the company’s plan to expand locally.
The introductory ex-factory price of Tiggo 9 PHEV has been set at Rs13,694,000 and customers for Tiggo 9 PHEV can secure booking with an upfront payment of Rs3,000,000.
Part of a Broader Electrification
The launch is based on Chery’s electrification plan first unveiled at PAPS Auto Show in November 2025. At the event, the company showcased Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9 PHEV models for the Pakistani market.
Earlier this year, Chery launched the Tiggo 8 PHEV in India at the initial price of Rs1.09 crore, and later amended the price by an increase of Rs300,000.
With the intro of Tiggo 9 in the lineup now, this brand has fortified its position in the growing hybrid SUV segment in the Pakistani market. The Tiggo 7 PHEV is expected to come later this year.
Performance
The Tiggo 9 PHEV is a 7-seater ALL Wheel Drive SUV. It is 4810 mm long, 1925 mm wide and 1741 mm high, with a 2800 mm wheelbase.
It has a turbocharged motor of 1.5 litres, a combination of a three-motor and a battery pack of 34.46 kWh. The total output power is 610 horsepower and 920 Nm of torque.
The SUV has a WLTP electric-only range of 145 kilometres, it also has a total combined driving range up to 1190 kilometres.
Premium Interior and higher safety
Inside, the Tiggo 9 PHEV is also equipped with a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a Sony 14-speaker sound system. A panoramic sunroof and 20-inch alloy wheels complete its list of premiums.
Front seats have 6-way electric adjustment, lumbar support, heating, ventilation, and massage. There is also heating and ventilation at the second row.
On the safety aspect of things, the SUV is equipped with 10 airbags, ADAS, auto parking assist, heated leather steering wheel, remote control, voice assistant and headrest speakers.
