Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, in a post on X, announced 21 fire and rescue vehicles for Pakistan as a gift. According to the details, the 21 fire and rescue vehicles are worth Rs 3billion and China was giving these vehicles to enhance Islamabad’s emergency response and infrastructure.”
The Chinese Embassy wrote in a post on X, “Reinforcing our shared commitment to public safety and disaster resilience. China is gifting a modern fleet of 21 fire & rescue vehicles valued at PKR 3 billion to upgrade Islamabad’s emergency response infrastructure.
Arriving this September, the fleet features an advanced 88m snorkel tender, substantially bolstering emergency response capability and high-rise rescue operations across the capital. A testament to our timeless, all-weather strategic cooperative partnership serving and protecting our communities together.”
The brother neighboring country announced to give these safety vehicles after the 14 new born babies killed due to fire broke at Islamabad’s Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences on August 26 last month.
Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif suspended eight individuals from PIMS over negligence.
