China has announced a visa free entry for 30 days for some countries, unfortunately Pakistan is not amongst those countries.
According to the media report, China announced visa-free entry for the people of the UK and Canada. The Chinese Foreign Minister announced that this policy will be applicable from Tuesday (today) to December 31st.
The Minister confirmed that the citizens of the UK and Canada don’t need a visa to travel to China, as the country already announced visa-free entry for the mentioned countries.
Several reports confirmed that this development came after the visit of Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the UK. At the same time, China also announced the same provision for the people of Canada after the visit of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to China.
The Chinese officials confirmed that the people of the UK and Canada can get visa-free entry and stay for 30 days in China without a visa. The authorities also said that Canadian and UK citizens can visit China for business, tourism and meeting relatives and friends.
Pakistanis need a Chinese visa
On the other hand, Pakistani citizens need a visa to travel to China, as there is no visa-free entry for Pakistanis. If you are a student, tourist or businessman but you hold a Pakistani passport, then you need to apply for a visa to travel to China. There is no visa-free entry policy for Pakistanis in any category.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistanis can get a Chinese visa easily, but going through the process is mandatory for every Pakistani citizen who wants to travel to China.
China is the fastest-growing economy in the world, and several individuals have a dream to visit China for work or even for studies.
