Civil war erupts within Afghan Taliban; Islamic Emirate commander issues threat to Haibatullah Akhundzada

Since the formation of the Islamic Emirate government in Afghanistan, reports suggest that internal divisions have emerged within the Afghan Taliban. The inner sources revealed that the Islamic Emirate commander issuesd threat to Haibatullah Akhundzada.

The main reason cited for these tensions is the government’s alleged inclination toward India and Israel.

Public opinion appears to be shifting against the Afghan Taliban’s Emir, Haibatullah Akhundzada.

In the past, commanders from various regions reportedly questioned his leadership, but now the situation is being described by some as having escalated into open conflict. In this context, a statement allegedly containing threats has gone viral on social media.

According to media reports, serious internal divisions have emerged within the top leadership of the Afghan Taliban, and it is now being reported that the Taliban government in Afghanistan is effectively split into two factions.

The report states that the Taliban leadership is clearly divided into two groups. One faction, based in Kandahar, is led by Akhundzada, who advocates for a hardline Islamic Emirate.

This group envisions a system largely isolated from the modern world, where religious leaders maintain complete control over society.

The faction strongly opposes women’s education and employment and views modern technology, especially the Internet,t as a threat to Islamic values. Akhundzada has made Kandahar his power base and has taken key decisions from there, including matters related to the deployment of security forces and the distribution of weapons from Kabul.
