Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi’s son car met with a traffic accident in Islamabad on Friday evening. Luckily he remained safe.
The accident took place on the Constitution Highway in front of the Supreme Court. According to the police, the car lost control while trying to save the motorcycle and crashed into the divider.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
Teams of Islamabad Police and Motorway Police reached the spot as soon as they were informed.
The vehicle was later removed from the road while the traffic flow was also restored.
Last month two young girls lost their lives when they were on the road on their scooty and were hit by Justice Mohammed Asif’s son, Abuzar, near the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad, where the girls used to work.
The judge’s son reportedly did not have a valid driver’s license, and the man fled the area immediately after the collision.
The girls passed away on the spot.
The families have forgiven the judge’s son, who was involved in a road accident that killed their daughters, after he was sent to physical remand.
According to the reports, the family directly told the court that they forgave him, and after that, the court ordered his release.
