The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) has demanded an increase in their pay ahead of the federal budget 2026-27.
The government employees have cited the rising with inflation and increasing living costs.
The association is calling for a 200% increase in basic pay and a 500% rise in house rent, medical and other allowances.
It has also submitted a six-point charter of demands to the government.
APCA leaders have announced plans to hold a protest in Islamabad on 2 June to press the government to accept their demands.
The group says current salary structures are no longer sufficient to cope with inflation, which it argues has significantly reduced the purchasing power of government employees.
It has also urged the government to withdraw or reconsider any plans related to the privatisation of public-sector institutions.

The association has called on government workers from across the country to participate in the planned demonstration in the federal capital.
Authorities in Islamabad have reportedly begun security preparations ahead of the protest, as officials brace for a large gathering.
The federal government has not yet responded publicly to APCA’s demands.
