Cocaine trafficker Ms Anmol, alias Pinki, was granted physical remand until May 22 and handed over to the police.
According to details, the inter-provincial drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky was presented before a local court in Karachi, where the Baghdadi Police Station requested further remand in connection with a murder case involving the accused.
During the hearing, the investigating officer made shocking revelations before the court regarding the accused’s network. The officer stated that the accused was associated with criminals from Nigeria. A list containing 800 contacts was recovered from the accused’s mobile phone, and the network reportedly extends to Punjab and Lahore.
The investigating officer said that the accused had created her own “brand” of drugs. According to him, the police and other law enforcement agencies had been searching for her for a long time. He added that more drugs were recently recovered based on information provided by the accused, and 11 additional cases had been registered against her.
The officer further stated that the accused originally belonged to Lahore, but her identity card still carried a Karachi address. He also claimed that her ex-husband had blocked her old data.
The investigating officer told the court that the accused was highly intelligent and had been operating this network for the past 15 years. To avoid law enforcement and address security concerns, she had allegedly married a DSP in Punjab. He added that she had married three times in total, but surprisingly, none of these marriages had yet appeared in NADRA records.
The court then asked the investigating officer, “What investigation was conducted in the murder case? Was the deceased identified?” The officer replied that the deceased had not yet been identified. However, he said that when the body was discovered, a box of drugs bearing the accused’s brand was recovered during the search, linking the deceased to the accused.
When the court asked the accused, “Did the police tell you to smile and open the door when they raided?” the accused broke down in tears and made a sensational claim, saying, “These people are blatantly lying. I was arrested in Lahore 20 to 22 days ago and kept blindfolded in a house.”
