Islamabad courts to remain closed tomorrow

Islamabad: On the instructions of Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar, a holiday has been declared in the courts for tomorrow (November 1, on the occasion of the Islamabad Bar Council elections.

According to an official notification issued by the Registrar’s Office, the Islamabad High Court and all subordinate courts will remain closed tomorrow, however, the court offices will remain open as usual so that administrative matters are not affected.

Due to the participation of a large number of lawyers during the elections, it has been decided to postpone the proceedings of the courts.

According to sources, on the instructions of the Chief Justice, instructions have been issued to the district administration and police to make strict security arrangements for the conduct of peaceful and orderly elections.
