Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Farhan Aslam, has announced the complete traffic plan for the last days of Ramzan and Eid bazars.
According to the CTO of Rawalpindi, the heavy rush has been noticed in the Eid bazars and other markets in Rawalpindi in the last days of Ramzan.
The CTO confirmed that for the last two to three days, a heavy rush has been noticed in the different markets of Rawalpindi, including Commercial markets, Sadar markets, Raja Bazar, and Tench Bhata.
CTO Rawalpindi said that, considering the situation, the police have arranged a new traffic duty plan to deal with the situation.
New traffic duty plan in Rawalpindi
CTO Rawalpindi has said that we have increased the strength of traffic police personnel in the city to manage the traffic in the crowded areas and markets.
CTO Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam also said that the traffic police administration extended the duty hours of traffic police personnel from 11 pm to 2 am for the last days of Ramzan and during Eid days.
Dolphin police and women police squads
CTO Farhan Aslam also confirmed the formation of a women’s traffic police squad in the city to guide women about the traffic situation and related matters.
CTO Rawalpindi also said that the Dolphin squad will also protect citizens in crowded areas, including markets and bazars.
CTO Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam also urged citizens to park their vehicles in legal parking areas to avoid any inconvenience
