Authorities Enforce Curfew in Khyber’s Tirah Maidan, Area Linked to Hashish Cultivation

A day long curfew was imposed on Monday (17 November) in Tirah Maidan, Tehsil Tirah of Khyber, due to security concerns.

According to the local administration, the curfew began at 6 AM and will remain in place until the evening, covering all areas beyond Dottoi.

Residents have been advised to stay indoors and avoid any unnecessary movement during these hours.

Authorities say the measure aims to maintain order and ensure security in the region.

Meanwhile, the North Waziristan district administration has also announced a two-day curfew across the entire district.

The curfew started at 5 AM on Monday, 17 November, and will continue until the night of 18 November.

All major and minor roads will stay closed, with movement allowed only for security personnel.
