Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has criticised the trend of short hair, which is going viral on social media after the country’s top actresses surprised everyone with their short hair looks.
In an Instagram story, Shah urged the fans not to follow this trend, describing it as a “form of self-harm”.
She claimed that actresses have cut their hair short just to get some attention, adding that some of them have pinned their hair up.
Alizeh Shah also said that these actresses can wear wigs, but the people who are getting inspired will have to wait for three years for their hair to grow back.
Actress Hania Aamir is the latest celebrity to join this trend.
Earlier, Sajal Ali and Saheefa Jabbar Khattak debuted their pixie cut.
When Sajal posted a video showing off her new short hair transformation, it instantly took over the internet, as the actress debuted one of her boldest and shortest hairstyles ever for the first time.
Fans flooded the comments section with love, calling her look stylish, fresh and iconic.
So far, Sajal has only shared one video featuring her short hair look and has not posted any more glimpses yet. The actress looked effortlessly chic, with some of her friends even comparing her to “Diana”.
Alizeh Shah was previously in the headlines for criticising a new female singer, Zoha Waseem.
Shah took to her Instagram to criticise Waseem’s rehearsal set. “Guys, she needs attention. God, jealousy on top. People don’t look at you, and you are getting jealous of others”, added Shah.
