DPM Dar Holds Talks with Egyptian, Azerbaijani, Iranian FMs on Gaza Crisis

Web desk: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Azerbaijan, and Iran to discuss the tense situation in Gaza and the broader tensions in the Middle East.

According to details shared on Saturday, all sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue joint efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region.

During his discussion with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dar reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Both sides also discussed regional diplomatic cooperation and preparations for the upcoming summit in Sharm El-Sheikh.

DPM Dar Holds Talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister

In a separate call, Dar spoke with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Foreign Office said the two leaders held an in-depth discussion on the Middle East situation, especially the worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.

They also exchanged views on the efforts of Arab and Islamic countries to restore peace in the region.

Dar also held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, focusing on the Palestinian issue and the situation in Gaza.

Both leaders discussed the evolving regional developments.

The two ministers also reviewed preparations for the upcoming Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit scheduled to take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
